Glimex, Inc.’s primary business is international trading.  Major manufacturers and suppliers from all over Asia, Europe and North America have authorized Glimex, Inc. to represent them in all their major interests in the Philippines especially in the power and energy development sector.  With China’s widening open-door policy in the international market for industrial goods, its presence has become more evident globally.

Glimex, Inc. has tied up with numerous reliable manufacturers in China to develop products for the geothermal industry. Glimex, Inc. pioneered business ties with leading producers from China for steam & water separators and other fabricated vessels; valves, flanges and fittings, & carbon steel pipes (seamless, ERW, SAW) that meets and conforms to international grade and quality standard (API, ASME, & ISO).

For the past 30 years, Glimex, Inc. has been steadily supplying the needs of its major clients such as PNOC Group of Companies, Petron Corporation, Petron Bataan Refinery and National Power Corporation.  The client’s requirements include but are not limited to industrial machineries & equipment, chemicals & minerals, oil, services and various engineering steel products. Glimex, Inc. biggest project in the oil and gas industry is the supply of about 70% of the major process units for Petron Bataan Refinery’s $ 2-billion Refinery Master Plan 2 Expansion Project (RMP-2) with our partner Axens IFP Technologies of France, expanding Petron’s oil refining capacity to 180,000 bpd.

Its current business portfolio has expanded to the renewable energy, consumer products, retailing, and other businesses which are on its pipeline. Glimex Inc. is headed by a visionary who is always on the lookout for sunrise industries, operated by Filipinos and for Filipinos. The Company and subsidiaries are co-managed by the siblings of the family that holds principal ownership on Glimex.

Aside from the geothermal power and oil refining industries, Glimex, Inc. has ventured into new renewable energy development. Glimex formerly owned and operated several solar farms in the country – 15 MW in Bulacan, 7 MW in Clark, 7 MW in Tarlac, 5 MW in Bukidnon. With renewable energy's rapid development in the country, Glimex continues to pursue projects such as off and onshore wind, and solar power.

It started with one brand and has now expanded to various top brands of electronic gaming machines / Slot Machines (EGMs), cash redemption terminals and thermal paper for slot machines. Glimex has sold about 1,200 slot machines for USA-based Bally Technologies, 400 slot machines for Australia-based Ainsworth and 150 slot machines for South Korea-based Hydako – traversing Integrated Resorts, PAGCOR venues and VIP clubs nationwide. With the introduction of Cash Redemption Terminals in the country, Glimex supplied the first eCash Terminals in City of Dreams, Manila. 

Glimex also has delivered three big orders of thermal ticket paper for slot machines for PAGCOR covering their sites nationwide. To date, Glimex has recently added Slovenia-based manufacturer Spintec and Japan-based LT Game to its portfolio – two of the most popular brands in Electronic Table Games, entrusting Glimex so they could penetrate the casino industry in the Philippines.

Glimex has ventured to a partnership with Midori Hotel and Casino located in Clark, supplying an all-star line-up of slot machines. The result of comprehensive market research – this casino is envisioned to be the number 1 casino in the north. Glimex has penned partnership with Macau-based Asia Pioneer Entertainment (APE), which is a known distributor of slot machines and provider of technical services in Macau. Glimex also expanded its operations to Cebu, supplying and providing maintenance of slot machines for The Palace Casino in Mactan.

Glimex reinvented the supply of gaming equipment by providing 24/7 onsite marketing and technical personnel to its clients, presenting a streamlined model of customer service. 

Coping up with the recent events like COVID-19 pandemic, Glimex has managed to explore opportunities and recently added One-Stop Solutions to its offering. Glimex is a system development and management team in the Online Gaming Industry providing IT solutions, integration, support and maintenance which is now operational in Philweb’s e-Games Casino. The company has also developed an Online Gaming Platform for Emerald Bay Integrated Resort and Casino in Cebu. These new endeavors beefed up Glimex’s resume as one of the leading Gaming System Providers in the Philippines.

Glimex has already taken its share of pie in the casino industry that was dominated by foreign companies, creating a good reputation from company’s dynamic leaders down to its hardworking constituents.
